The MDM150L is a Redzone motorised zone damper for 150mm duct, fitted with a 24V 2.5Nm drive open, drive close motor.

Installed in the duct run to a zone, the damper is switched by the zone controller to open or close the airway, sending conditioned air only where it is wanted. Its galvanised barrel has 5mm silver insulation, the blade is folded metal with a 12mm foam seal, and the motor has a metal shaft and brass brushes. The AAD catalogue lists Redzone dampers in 24 volt and 240 volt versions; this is the 24V one.

Check that your zone controller supports 24V drive open, drive close dampers. Make sure the duct is 150mm, then slide the flexible duct over each end of the barrel, strap and tape the joins, and support the damper so its weight does not hang on the duct. Leave the motor accessible for future service.

If an item is unavailable or delayed, we will contact you by phone or email to offer an alternative, an expected dispatch date or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

• Delivery cost: $40 per order for parts and accessories, free for orders of $600 or more; $89 per order for air conditioning and heating units, with any parts and accessories in the same order shipped free. One charge per order. Prices include GST and are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Dispatch: usually within 1 business day (allow up to 3 business days). Orders placed after 12:00 pm Sydney time are processed the next business day.
• Delivery time after dispatch: usually 3 to 4 business days to most addresses, and up to 10 business days to regional and remote areas, including WA, the NT and Tasmania.
• Pickup: not available. All orders are delivered.

AC Hub Direct does not run its own warehouse. Orders are dispatched from our suppliers' warehouses in New South Wales and Victoria, usually from the location nearest to you that has stock.

Change of mind: request a return within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled and in their original unopened packaging. A 15% restocking and administration fee applies, you pay the return freight, and the original delivery charge is not refunded.

Cancellations: if you cancel before your order is dispatched, we refund it less a 4% administration fee, which covers payment processing costs. Once an order is dispatched, a cancellation is handled as a change-of-mind return.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: no restocking fee, and we cover the return freight. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.

Manufacturer's warranty terms vary by brand, and some manufacturers require installation by a licensed technician or purchase from a dealer they have authorised, so please ask us for the manufacturer's published warranty terms before you buy; your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, contact us with your order number and photos. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
