Installation
AC Hub Direct supplies equipment only. This page explains the licensing rules for installation and how to get an installation quote.
Licensed installation is required
- Split, ducted and other refrigerant-based systems must be installed by a technician holding the appropriate ARC refrigerant handling licence. It is illegal for an unlicensed person to handle refrigerant.
- Gas ducted heaters must be installed by a licensed gasfitter.
- Electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician.
Manufacturers may refuse warranty claims where installation does not meet these requirements or the manufacturer's instructions. See Warranty Information.
Installation quotes through Airomania
If you need an installer, Airomania can provide a quote for selected areas of Sydney and Melbourne. Airomania is a registered business name of Wholesale Airconditioning Pty Ltd, the same company that operates AC Hub Direct.

Installation is quoted and agreed separately from your product order. The scope of work is confirmed in your written quote.

- replacement and upgrade installations
How to request a quote
- Contact us through the contact form, by email or by phone.
- Tell us your suburb, the system you have bought or are considering, and where you would like the units installed. Photos or floor plans help.
- You will receive a written quotation. Installation is booked only once you accept it.
You are also free to use any licensed installer of your choice.
