Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Most air conditioning and HVAC systems sold by AC Hub are covered by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms, duration, and coverage vary between brands and product types. The applicable warranty period and conditions will be outlined in the documentation included with your product at the time of purchase.

As a general guide, many residential air conditioning systems sold by AC Hub include a 5-year manufacturer warranty covering parts. Labour, installation, and service costs are generally not covered unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

Important Warranty Conditions

To ensure your warranty remains valid, please note the following:

  • All air conditioning and HVAC systems must be installed by a fully licensed and qualified HVAC professional in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and applicable Australian standards
  • Warranty coverage may be voided if the system is installed by an unlicensed individual, installed incorrectly, or operated outside the manufacturer's recommended parameters
  • Any service or repair costs arising from installation not meeting these requirements will be the responsibility of the customer
  • Proof of purchase, including your tax invoice, will be required to process any warranty claim
  • Some warranty claims may require assessment by the manufacturer, supplier, or an authorised service agent prior to approval

How to Lodge a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has developed a fault covered under the manufacturer warranty, please follow these steps:

Step 1 — Contact AC Hub Email our team at sales@achub.com.au with your order number, product details, and a description of the fault. Include photographs or video evidence where possible.

Step 2 — Assessment Our team will review your claim and advise whether it should be directed to the manufacturer directly or whether AC Hub can assist in facilitating the claim on your behalf.

Step 3 — Manufacturer Lodgement Most warranty claims must be lodged directly with the manufacturer. The manufacturer's contact details will be provided on the warranty card or documentation included with your product. AC Hub will assist where possible by liaising with the manufacturer or supplier on your behalf.

Step 4 — Resolution Warranty outcomes are determined by the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms and applicable Australian Consumer Law. Outcomes may include repair, replacement, or other remedy as determined by the manufacturer.

Tips to Maintain Your Warranty

To ensure your warranty remains valid and your system operates efficiently:

  • Operate your system according to the manufacturer's instructions
  • Keep the air inlet and outlet of the outdoor unit free from obstructions such as dirt, leaves, or plants
  • Clean indoor filters regularly
  • Have your domestic system professionally serviced at least once per year
  • Maintain the operation of the condensate drain
  • Replace exhausted batteries in remote controls promptly
  • If your system develops a fault, contact the manufacturer immediately
  • Do not continue to operate a faulty system as this may cause further damage and void your warranty

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this warranty policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
