A 250mm round spigot sits behind the 300 x 300mm face of this aluminium 4 way ceiling diffuser. It takes a 250mm supply branch and discharges the air in four directions from a compact square outlet in the ceiling.

In a ducted system this is the last fitting on a supply run: duct from the take-off or zone damper crosses the ceiling space and drops onto the 250mm spigot. Strap and tape the duct to the spigot so no conditioned air escapes into the roof. Keep the final length of duct as straight as practical, since a sharp bend right at the spigot pushes more air out of one side of the face than the others.

Check that the duct at this outlet really is 250mm; a different size will not fit the spigot without a reducer or increaser. Look at the joist layout and void depth too, because a 250mm duct needs room to turn down. If you are replacing an existing diffuser, compare the old ceiling opening with this 300 x 300mm face before you buy.

• Delivery time after dispatch: usually 3 to 4 business days to most addresses, and up to 10 business days to regional and remote areas, including WA, the NT and Tasmania.
• Pickup: not available. All orders are delivered.

AC Hub Direct does not run its own warehouse. Orders are dispatched from our suppliers' warehouses in New South Wales and Victoria, usually from the location nearest to you that has stock.

Change of mind: request a return within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled and in their original unopened packaging. A 15% restocking and administration fee applies, you pay the return freight, and the original delivery charge is not refunded.

Cancellations: if you cancel before your order is dispatched, we refund it less a 4% administration fee, which covers payment processing costs. Once an order is dispatched, a cancellation is handled as a change-of-mind return.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: no restocking fee, and we cover the return freight. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply.

Manufacturer's warranty terms vary by brand, and some manufacturers require installation by a licensed technician or purchase from a dealer they have authorised, so please ask us for the manufacturer's published warranty terms before you buy; your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, contact us with your order number and photos. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
